(Torrance, CA, July 14, 2017) As the California Lightning Sprints start there final third of the season numerous big events are on the schedule. With 7 events left CLS resumes with the Ventura Fair race on Aug 2nd which pays $700 to win and $75 to start. The top three in points, Jarrett Kramer, Aiden Lange and Cody Nigh are separated by only 87 points and the top 5 by only 250, with a total of 148 points available at each event, the championship is still anybodys.

The final Civil war race is scheduled for October 7th at Ventura Raceway with Craig Dillard leading the points followed by Dakota Albright and Cody Nigh.

The big news is the addition of a November 18th event at Bakersfield Speedway where CLS will be on the schedule with the USAC National Midgets, Its a big honor for CLS to be invited to this event, Tshirts by Timeless is the sponsor of the event for CLS which will pay $1000 to win and the race has been named The Western States Lightning Sprints Championship. This is both a CLS points event and a USAC National Lightning Sprints points event. CLS is looking to have cars from Northern California, Washington State and Colorado hopefully attend the high paying prestigious event.
