This coming Saturday (7/23)marks our last stop at
the beach for a while as we don’t return to
Ventura Raceway again until October 29th. Charge
those transponders, put batteries in the radios
and come on out and beat the heat. While you’re
there be sure to stop by and pickup your very own
2022 California Lightning Sprints apparel.
T-shirts are a bargain at $15 and hoodies are
equally priced to sell at $30, come get them while
supplies last!
Our next race after this is
“The Historical Little One” with the USAC/CRA
sprint cars at Santa Maria Raceway on August 6th.
We’ve got teams coming from all over to compete,
it should be a great turnout. Come out and support
a great track with a lot of history. Also there
will be an open practice at Santa Maria on
Saturday night July 30th from 5-9pm with all pit
passes $45.
We’re still taking lap
sponsors for the August 6th show, help us fill up
the sheet and make this one of our greatest paying
races.

********** Hoosier Tire
availability *********** We are working with
the USAC West Coast Midget folks on providing a
united voice to Hoosier for tire needs and
allotment. As you know supply is tight and we're
trying to get an appropriate level of stock out
here so everyone can be served. The next batch is
due in the first part of August and we're hoping
to have an equitable amount sent out to the west
coast for all of us to use. The USAC folks are
only supposed to purchase no more than 2 RR tires
per allotment shipped to Hoosier West. If we can
all adhere to this level of self control we should
all have enough tires to get us through the rest
of the year. I'm not sure when the various
allotments are being shipped, I don't believe it's
as frequent as monthly but we're providing the
Hoosier folks with our requirements through August
and will continue to remain in contact as a united
front from the west coast.

Mohave Speedway in our very first joint sanctioned
event with SWLS.
October 29th the final
race of the season at Ventura Raceway
November 15th the final Civil war matchup with
BCRA at Bakersfield and our final points race of
the season
November 17-19 The legendary
Hangtown non-winged event at Placerville Speedway
with BCRA (non-points).
