CLS Member Communication September 12, 2022. Hi gang, Just a quick note to all who came out to Lemoore this past weekend. We had a good car turnout for our inaugural event at Lemoore Raceway. I’ve received copious amounts of positive feedback from the track officials, fellow competitors and fans alike. Even with a new venue for some, new track configuration and the weather providing challenges every one of you put on an orderly and professional show and set a stellar example for all to follow. I’d like to thank all of the competitors and our CLS officials for making this a spectacular event. Our next event is the 4th installment in our CLS/BCRA Civil War series at Bakersfield Speedway on September 24th. With this being the first event of the Autumn season and hopefully bringing cooler weather, returning to the legendary Bakersfield Speedway, and increasing car counts we have all of the pieces in place for an epic event! You won’t want to miss this! In other CLS and non-CLS related news: Start preparing for our first CLS return engagement at Mohave Raceway in many years. This is a joint race with SWLS on October 8th. Also on the bill that night will be the USAC/CRA sprint cars. This coming weekend Perris Auto Speedway will be running the Glenn Howard Classic with the USAC/CRA sprint cars. Also on the bill are the SWLS Lightning Sprint cars where any and all of our CLS members are welcome to compete. We also have more stellar events lined up to finish up the season, but it’s worth mentioning that after our joint CLS/SWLS show at Mohave Raceway some of you may be interested in returning to Lemoore for the annual Cal Cup race.
