CLS Member Communication November 16, 2022 Howdy folks, First thing, I want to thank everyone for stopping by or connecting in one way or other last night after I stepped on my male appendage and turned my car into a Maytag appliance on the spin cycle in turn one of the first lap of the main. I’m fine, the car not so much, if you can put a wrench on it I broke it 😊This will make my Christmas list rather lengthy but the important part is all the well wishes and check-ins I received from everyone. We are truly a racing family. Now, other than that bit of distraction I’d like to thank everyone for their participation last night. We had a fantastic event that everyone can be proud of. Congratulations to our CLS Champion and CLS/BCRA Civil War Champion David Gasper, BCRA Champion Matt Land, CLS Rookie of the year Conner Speir and Western States Lightning Sprints Main Event winner Bobby Michnowicz. I’d like to specifically thank Dick Hindman, Ty Hindman, Colleen and Dwayne Cossey, Ryan Greco, Shane Holt, Mike Nehring, Bobby and Wendy Michnowicz and every track promoter and sponsor who have helped our club put on a professional and competitive show all season. I’d also like to thank Scott Daloisio for his spectacular announcing and press releases for the club and Lance Jennings for keeping our website updated and looking professional all year. Looking forward to 2023. I’m sure there are others I’ve left out, it’s purely unintentional as I’m old and have been on my head a few times recently, so there’s my excuse…. Again, thanks to the entire membership for making this season memorable. In other news, the 2022 Championship Banquet will be held on Februrary 4th 2023 at Frantone’s (same venue as last year).
