Thanks everyone for a great program at
Bakersfield last Saturday night! Everyone put on a
professional and racy show, I want to thank all of
our CLS regulars and the BCRA folks who traveled
to make this civil war race a success. It was some
of the best racing in a while.
Here's a few
rather important announcements
Hoosier is
no longer making SP2 compound RR tires. In order
to keep the playing field fair and allow those
with an inventory of SP2 still in their trailer
the board has allowed the continued use of SP2 for
qualifying and heat races in the 2024 season.
However ,all cars in the main event in 2024 must
use the SP3 compound on their RR.
Our
November 14th race at Bakersfield Speedway is now
the Best of the West finale with SWLS to make up
for the race that was cancelled at Ventura on July
22 due to the X Games. Our Best of the West
race on October 14th is shaping up to be a great
show and we're encouraging all to come out and
bring your "A" game. Be advised that there is also
the Laughlin Desert Classic off-road race on
October 12th - 15th so make sure you book your
hotel reservations now.
Again, thanks to
all for a great race last weekend. Hope to see
everyone at the beach on September 23 for our next
race at Ventura Raceway. and then 1 week later for
the Albright Memorial non-wing show at Merced on
September 30th.
