Howdy folks,
I
am thrilled to announce that we have just
completed a fantastic season with over 50
different competitors at 17 races for our 2023
season. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks
to all who stepped up and made this season a
success. From all of our sponsors, promotors,
drivers, crew, owners, officials, and fans, it
takes a lot of involvement to put on a quality
show, and we couldn't have done it without you.
Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and
support. We look forward to seeing you again in
2024.
With that said, it's time to hit the
ground running for our 2024 season as the clock is
running..........
Our 2023 champions
banquet is Saturday February 3rd at Frantone’s
Pizza & Spaghetti Villa in Cerritos . Please RSVP
and get those checks in.
The cost is as
last year, $40 per person.
The first race
of our 2024 season is at Imperial Raceway for the
MidWinter Fair 3/1-3/2 - 2024
The rest of
the 2024 schedule is being finalized but should
prove to be as diverse and exciting as our 2023
schedule, get those cars out of the garage and get
ready to race. Stay tuned for updates......
Hoosier stopped making SP2 compound RR tires
mid 2023 season. In order to keep the playing
field fair and allow those with an inventory of
SP2 still in their trailer the board has allowed
the continued use of SP2 for qualifying and heat
races in the 2024 season. However, all cars that
are presented for tech at the end of the main
event (top 4) in 2024 must use SP3 compound on
their RR. There will be a 3 race grace period at
the beginning of the season with the first 2 races
of that grace period being the 2 day Imperial
show.
Since the holidays are upon us, use
the down time to inspect your safety gear and
assure that all is up to date and in good
condition. If not, you now have good candidates to
add to your Christmas list.
