Racers, we are ONE WEEK OUT from lighting the fuse
on the 2026 season, and the California Lightning
Sprints presented by Motor City GMC are ready to
roar back to life.
March 6–7, the desert
becomes our battleground as we storm into Imperial
Valley Raceway for Races 1 & 2 of The Clash — a
full‑throttle joint event with the Southern
California Lightning Sprints. Two nights. High
intensity. No easing into the season. This is
where the tone for 2026 gets set.
AND DON’T
FORGET: DAYLIGHT SAVINGS IS COMING
We’re
springing forward on March 8, right after The
Clash.
That means: Your sleep schedule
is about to get punched in the face
Your
internal clock will be as confused as a loose
right‑rear
And you’ll have one less hour to
recover from two nights of desert chaos
Plan accordingly. Hydrate. Rest. Set alarms. Don’t
show up to work Monday looking like you just ran
30 laps on the cushion.
Before you roll
through those gates, make sure you’re fully locked
in:
Review the 2026 CLS Rules (unchanged —
but still mandatory)
Complete your 2026
Membership Form
Get your W‑9 submitted so
you’re ready to race and ready to cash those
checks
The countdown is almost over. The Clash is
coming. The California Lightning Sprints presented
by Motor City GMC are about to light up the desert
— and YOU need to be ready when the green flag
drops.
And the momentum doesn’t stop there.
Two weeks later, we head back to the Beach for our
first 2026 season event at Ventura Raceway on
March 21st. The waves, the wind, and the wings —
Ventura is calling.
